The essence of Sai Baba’s teachings

Sadguru Shri Sainathaya Namaha!

There are 3 wonderful chapters written in Bhaktleelamrit. These chapters were written while Sai Baba sported in physical body. Enormous teachings regarding most topics touching our life and life welfare are given in those chapters by Sai Baba himself. Those chapters cover the teachings given by Sai Baba to His close devotee Nanasaheb Chandorkar. Nanasaheb asked various questions regarding the normal life and spiritual life. Sai Baba explained to him in detail, the conducts on various issues in day-today life and spiritual life.

These 3 chapters were read, even in Dwarkamai in front of Sai Baba. There is beautiful story of Bhimaji Patil in Sai Sat Charitra. Bhimaji Patil was severely suffering from a disease and was counting his last days. On bidding by Nanasaheb Chandorkar, he sought refuge in Sai Baba. By Sai Baba’s grace he was completely cured overnight. It is mentioned in Shri Sai Sat Charitra that Bhimaji Patil then conducted Sai satya Vrat puja in place of Satya Narayan vrat puja.  These were the chapters that were read in Sai satya vrat puja.
It covers….
  • The issues like karma and destiny.

  • How one should conduct oneself in world. Covers teachings on subjects like wealth, charity, relationships like son, daughter, relatives, friends, duties of this world (mundane world as called by many spiritual seekers, in chapter 32). Nanasaheb prostrates at Sai Baba’s feet saying, “O Sai Maharaj, I am sick and tired of this mundane life” he continues with some reasoning for the above state of mind. To this Sai Baba replies in detail.

  • Chapter 33 Sai Baba says, “Now I will tell you how to act, to reach state of salvation (Mukta Sthiti) which follows the end of pleasure and pain.” Topics like destiny, karma, desires, karma (sex), husband-wife relationship, spiritual seeker, Sadhak, Siddha (One with God).

  • Chapter 57 relates with much more inscrutable queries like Brahma, God, Chaitanya, Maya (illusion), to which Sai Baba explains symbolically as these questions does not have answers. One must live the answer.
These 3 chapters of Bhaktleelamrit (32, 33 & 57) have words spoken by Sai Baba, which gives us great insight of living the life in practical way. Balasaheb Dev, found these 3 chapters too long to read daily in the world which requires much time dedicated to other works also. Sai Baba the compassionate one gave him the essence of the teachings, which could be read and imbibed every day, even in the busy schedules.
Balasaheb called it Sai Tatva Ratnavali, necklace of precious stones.
Below is Sai Tatva Ratnavali.

'O Baba'

  1. The ambrosia that you nurtured, until now we contemplated, Pothi (sacred text bhaktleelamrit) was filled by Das Ganu, but how can we contemplate on that regularly?
  2. O Gururai, we are sansari, the journey of Sansar is wicked, For the sake of hunger men-women, have to toil all day long.
  3. Guru (Sai Baba) compassionately replied, why do you worry? Contemplate on the essential of ambrosia that I narrate, surely you will be free.
  4. Speaking this Guru continued those words of wisdom then I imbibed the pearls that I weaved in this necklace, O devotees wear them with love.
  5.  'God is there, believe this to be truth'  'God is not, know this to be false’ And know this for sure, Nobody is bigger than God.
  6. God creates, and also God preserves, God raises, and also God takes where the death dwells.
  7. Not a leaf move, without the will of God. Be patient, and be satisfied with the will of God.
  8. Unfathomable is the play of God, the pace of logic falls there. Incomprehensible incidents of God, only the unique devotee alone knows.
  9. Fear the God alone and never leave the righteousness. Keep the center of power of Conscience of virtue and vice, constantly awake.
  10. Perform your duties always, never hold the vanity of doer. Believe always that God is the doer, and offer the results to God always. Then the deed will not bound you and danger of births will not hinder you.
  11. Rinanubandh (bond of indebtedness contracted in previous births (and forming the cause of suffering and enjoyment in this life) will then decay. Detached you will remain always.
  12.  God is filled with entire dwellings, God is the one who is hiding. Surely God is filled in all animals, so be compassionate to everyone.
  13.  Be harmonious with everyone, do not engage in debate. Do not slander anybody, nor compare.
  14.  Always listen with peace, what everybody speaks do not be afraid of it, those words cannot pierce the body.
  15. Do your duty with attention, do not give attention to other works why should we spend the sleepless nights for the duty of others?
  16.     Who sows surely reaps its fruits, why should other suffer with anxiety? In field of action the body disintegrates, so never waste time in leisure.
    17. Remember the name of God always, always read the sacred texts. Do not give up food or pleasure trips, but always be fixed in Him (God).
    18. Who regularly reads this and brings it in behavior, God will surely take his/her care, bow to Guru.

From 5th verse the teachings of Sai Baba starts until 18. This should be printed and hanged on the walls of the rooms we visit often. Read often and assimilated in heart. If we do this we will soon begin to find the key to calm mind and heart. Much of the turbulence of minds vanishes. If one is awake at the center, one will soon find out, hey the mind was occupied in comparisons, hence all the trouble for nothing. If we are awake we will notice that while slandering others, something within is not rising, it does not give or spread good feelings. Did not Sai Baba tell that slander will never help? And we will remember read the sacred text and would give our attention to sacred text.

Can Sleep Apnea Cause Death? Find the truth here.

Many people wonder about the question - Can Sleep Apnea Cause Death? Is it true or just an urban myth? We will bring you the facts so you can be armed with the knowledge to combat sleep apnea.
Sleep Apnea is a dangerous medical condition. And like most delicate health conditions, Patients their friends and family members should give full attention to this condition. Neglect or a careless attitude towards this illness could have serious effects and could even cause death. Speaking of hazards, Sleep Apnea can affect a person directly or indirectly.
There are different forms of Sleep Apnea, Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Mild or Occasional Sleep Apnea. Mild or occasional sleep can occur due to respiratory infections but [OSA] Obstructive Sleep Apnea is dangerous. As its name shows, during sleep the muscles of the upper neck can collapse and obstruct the flow of oxygen. This is called hypoxemia.
Some individuals especially the elderly and obese people have low muscle tone around their airway, and this causes the airway to become narrow and blocks the flow of oxygen. Research has shown that older people are more likely to have OSA than younger people and men are more likely victims of OSA than children and women.OSA comes with a list of symptoms which include but are not limited to loud snoring and unsettled sleep.

Can Sleep Apnea cause death?
The Human brain is the control center of the body. In the classic Central Sleep Apnea patient, there could be a “short-circuiting” of the brain and the respiratory center of the brain is not triggered to tell the body to start breathing again. Because of this the sleep apnea patient might not even breathe for seconds at a time.
Carbon dioxide builds up and puts pressure on the heart and it could begin to swell overtime and this might lead to a heart attack or even death. Also if the individual continues to miss breathing cycles, the percentage of oxygen flow will drop lower than the normal level (hypoxia) and carbon dioxide will build up (hypercapnia), overtime this trend will have adverse effects on the body. The Human Brain cells need oxygen to survive, and if the oxygen levels continue to go lower brain damage or death could set in eventually. In the average human this is not supposed to happen because the slightest drop in oxygen stimulates the brain to make the body resume the normal breathing cycle.
But as earlier stated this is not the case with OSA patients. Usually after such episodes of cessation of breath, breathing may become faster so the body can blow away all the carbon dioxide build up and receive more oxygen.
The effects of Sleep Apnea include weakness, depression and even suicidal thoughts. OSA can cause its victim to become “slow” during the day and this might cause the individual to react to events slowly. This could cause fatal accidents, fire outbreaks and CO poisoning. So to answer the question, can sleep apnea cause death?

Conclusion.
Sleep Apnea can cause death. Sure the condition can be managed and now there is a 70% rate of success for Sleep Apnea treatments. According to a medical news story as reported by ABC News, Millions of American suffer from Sleep Apnea leading to feelings of sleepiness during the day.
Researchers claim that 1400 traffic deaths each year is because of drivers suffering fromSleep Apnea. It is believed 3% of Americans suffer from it and there are 40 million undiagnosed Americans suffering from sleep apnea and about 1 in 50 or 2.00% or 5.4 million people in America have the disease and have not been diagnosed.

Virgin Mobile - Changing Room 20sec Hinglish.mpeg

Concept: In the above advertisement they have promoted their new scheme which they have introduced on low calling rates that is local calls 30 paisa p/m and STD calls 50 paisa p/m. But they have shown it through a kind of entertaining tragedy. In this ad they have shown a boyfriend whose waiting for his girlfriend outside the changing room but while waiting for her, mistakenly his mobile phone slips in some other changing room. So during the time when he was struggling to take it out his girlfriend notice’s him and misinterprets it and get mad at him. So due to low rates on  Virgin mobile phones and as he is one of the user of it, he calls her again and again and try to apologize and convince her that there nothing to blame him it was just an accidental incident. Through this scheme of Virgin Mobile Phones indirectly they are trying to convey that now it’s easy and cheaper to connect with your close ones.

Funny Indian ad Hutch Eskimo 2 windows live search MSN

Concept: The advertisement is a basically promoting the search feature which can be used if you have a
HUTCH GPRS activated phone. The Eskimos from different places are going toward somewhere this
may be misinterpreted by the viewers that the search takes lots of time. And the lengthiness of the
advertisement makes the advertisement very costly. The  positive message which is being delivered by
the advertisement is that the search is so intense that as you typed "Eskimo" it was so detailed that you
could figure out how Eskimos look.

Very Funny Indian Commercial (TV AD) Coool! 3,00,000+ Views!

Concept:  The advertisement is a bit funny but interactive. Taking it on a serious front, if an organization has employees like this, then the head would surely need camlin white board marker which is easily erase-able, because he would actually have to erase the written text again and again to make the concept understandable to the employees. It’s funny how the written word change which was to mean to make things different was misunderstood as the change in terms of money. It is a good concept, indeed an interesting one, as nobody would have thought that the advertisement would be about the easily erasable markers. Great creativity done by the designer of the advertisement.

Award winning & funny Indian ad for Glycodin

Concept: The above ad is very entertaining and it is showing how a Guru ji is doing the “Naam Karan” ceremony and naming the small child. He name the child in a very old fashioned manner. They just call their son by the name uuuhhhuhhuhh (coughing sound) and this can also lead to hurdle in the future of their child. According to me all these were used in old times and people who are less educated still follow these things. Our country is developing but still these kinds of superstitions are still availing in our Indian society.

Funny Indian ad about AIDS awareness --Courtroom

CONCEPT: The advertisement is undoubtedly creative as it’s very difficult to get the answer of every silly question. In this advertisement the advocate use to ask weird and silly question from the person standing in the witness box and the person got irritated with the questions of the advocate so he shouts for his father and the last few lines of the ad changes the complete meaning of the ad as it says how weird your question can be we gives you the answer. AIDS is such a disease about which many of  people are not aware as "how it get transmitted, what are its symptoms and what are its preventions". I guess this is the best way to create awareness among the public or viewers.

TAGLINE: We have answers of all your question.

Very funny Indian ad for Education Times ,TOI - Hair Art

CONCEPT:The essence of the advertisement it to show the value of the institution that gives the education. In this the barber is teaching the girl how to cut the hairs. But unfortunately his techniques to teach her were quite wrong. This is not the way to teach the student. As it’s dangerous for both student as well as the person who wants to cut his hair. It creates the problems in the main field. So last few lines of the advertisement shows that the TOI Education times provide the reader with the best institutions of the country.
